Overview
NextStair respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.
Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe that content on NextStair.com infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent containing all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material on our site that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g. the URL).
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on their behalf.

We aim to respond to valid notices within 5 business days.
Counter-notices
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the address above. A valid counter-notice must include the same contact details, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
Repeat infringers
NextStair will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion.
